Tilt the head to the side so the affected ear is facing upwards. (For children it may be easier to get them to lie down on one side.) Squeeze two to three drops of Earex olive oil drops into the ear canal and leave this in for a few minutes to let the drops soak into the ear wax. Keep the head tilted to the side while the drops are in the ear and massage around the outside of the ear. You can use some cotton wool or tissue to gently plug the ear and stop the drops running out if you need to. A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. However, get medical help right away if you notice any symptoms of a serious allergic reaction, including: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/ tongue/throat), redness of the ears, severe dizziness, trouble breathing. Reporting of side effects. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.
