It is most definitely a red toned matte bronzer shade, so much so I started to think it was more of a blush than a bronzer.

Try a lighter bronzer shade for all-over glow, then add a deeper shade to sculpt cheekbones, jawline, temples, and the sides of your nose. My opinion is that makeup lovers had high expectations of this line since the foundations ran so deep.

The color applied fairly evenly and blended out without much effort but did take a little more time to spread across my skin compared to some shades in the range (including the shade one step down from this one, Coco Naughty).

Personally, I applied Mocha Mami bronzer in the hollows of my cheek, on my temples, lightly across the top of my forehead AND THEN I like to take an extra step and use the bronzer by gently sweeping it in the crease of my eye and along the side of my nose to add more warmth to my face.
