Leaders of these companies have learned that collaboratively-arrived-at-solutions are far more durable and often simply better than those imposed by external authorities or managing agents. Curry confiou em si mesmo, deu a volta por cima e calou seus críticos, sendo o maior responsável pelo basquete não ser mais um esporte apenas para gigantes.

I would recommend this book to people who like to read biographies and who like reading in the sports genre. Complement with the reading lists of Colin Kaepernick, LeBron James, Kobe Bryant and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. To be honest Stephen Curry was not my favorite player in the NBA, because I was just looking at how strong the team he had played was and I was an anti-Golden State Warriors, and I didn't like Curry because he was the best player in the team which made me dislike him, but by reading this book and understanding his background and what he came through, and how he became himself he is right now, I think I was able to like him. This really speaks to me because I play sports and I recently just got hurt and I can not wait to get better and use all of my potential to the best of my ability. We publish concise, easily consumable books that portray the turning points in the lives of these great athletes, while also giving the context in which they occurred. An x-ray microscope would do the trick, or since we're dreaming, perhaps an Asimov-style nanosubmarine (unfortunately, neither is currently feasible). Thompson unravels the complicated underpinnings of the Steph Curry hate with a nuanced analysis of how class and complexion come into play when a child with an NBA pedigree becomes the face of a sport traditionally honed on inner-city black top and dominated by the less privileged. Starting first with his childhood and early life, we'll learn about Steph Curry prior to entering the NBA, his time in the NBA, along with his impact on the communities of Davidson College and Golden State. Throughout history, NBA fans have been very privileged to watch some of the greatest shooters that ever played the game.

He manages to tell the story of this incredible effort by elite people in a way that’s quite relatable and interesting. Steph met those expectations along with Monta Ellis and from that moment it was nothing but improvement for Steph until his injury in 2010 when he had his first of many ankle injury's. And this is not just opinion, as he holds the NBA regular season record for made three-pointers (304), NBA record for most consecutive games with a made three-pointer (133), and ties the NBA record with Kobe Bryant and Donyell Marshall for most three-pointers made in a game (12). And (I) had to go through those experiences of trying and failing… I think that’s something that most people will hopefully be able to learn from, connect with and be inspired by. In his sophomore picture book, NBA superstar Stephen Curry encourages kids to embrace the differences that make them extraordinary! When executives are encouraged to compete for bonuses and promotions, it costs them friendships and creativity. The Warriors got Curry in 2009 and they had high expectations for him because they had one of their worst teams in recent years. But Stephen used their doubts to shape his ever-positive attitude and fuel his own underdog success story. We want them to be able to set their sights on what they want to accomplish in the world and really believe that it’s possible.

This book will reveal to you much about Stephen Curry's story and the many accomplishments throughout his career. Steph obviously got a lot of his shooting abilities from the genetics that his father passed on to him.As skilled at writing as he is at piloting a spacecraft, Collins explains the clash of personalities at NASA and technical aspects of flight with clear, engaging prose, withholding nothing in his candid assessments of fellow astronauts Neil Armstrong, John Glenn, and Buzz Aldrin, and officials within NASA. He even took them all the way to a national tournament and over the course of his time at college broke and then broke again many records.

Now I’m not really a big fan of reading a lot but this book could stop me from reading it, every time I went to put it down I just wanted to read more. NASA astronaut Michael Collins trained as an experimental test pilot before venturing into space as a vital member of the Gemini 10 and Apollo 11 missions.

Curry has partnered with the online platform Literati, a children's book subscription service that recently expanded into book offerings for adults (with Steph's investment). One life lesson that I will carry with me is when Curry hurt his ankles, he did not give up, he trained and trained and trained during the off season to get back into the swing of things. Curry chose books that aren’t in the spotlight and used his fame and influence to make them the center of attention.
