The author switches between the two time periods effortlessly and easily which doesn’t always happen in these kinds of books. I mean, they actually had a relationship on their own and even that felt like it was too much one on one to allow for a cohesive relationship between the trio. Desperate to have her, Ash sends his best friend Embry to bring Greer to him, not knowing they have their own secrets, their own tragedies together. I love my sex scenes and especially as they were written here where there is a connection between the characters (that was one saving grace for this series for me - there is never a question that these characters feel deeply) but every time I engaged my listening device they were having sex. She loves writing the dirtiest things that she can think of, King Arthur, sparkling water, Tarot, coffee, leggings, and learning new words daily.

I wanted to tell Ash that loving him was like a scar, like a disease, it would always be there, I’d never be cured of it, and I didn’t want to be. I am so entrenched into this threeway love affair that we have going and never have I felt so consummed by a menage love tale or even a romance to be honest. Now I do want to point out that this review has spoilers, so if spoilers ruin your enjoyment of a story, go below to see the overall view. This is a gorgeous story about how life doesn’t always work out the way we want it to, but if we’re willing, we can still make it a great life.
