At first, there were no empty sprays, it immediately sprayed nicely. The smell was very similar to the familiar one before. On my first wearing I kid you not I received no less than 6 compliments, two within the first hour and the rest throughout the day. fresh lemony, sweet candy-ish scent, then develops a smokiness, then transforms literally into Creed Aventus. Pros: Harsh opening is no longer an issue, still a fantastic scent for the price, more vibrant and refined experience than the EDT version. Most people are probably struggling with the same thing I did: "Should I add this if I already have the EDT?"

I paid about twice as much for a bottle of CDNIM Limited Edition Parfum as I did for a bottle of the EDT and I have to say, even at that price point, it's still dirt cheap for what you get, and still cheaper than buying the average designer scent. To me this is definitely a must-have, whether it's this edition or another one. But that's the one that I use. I have to say that I don't use this nearly as much as I used to, as my collection has expanded considerably since my fragrance journey began, and I've kind of moved on when it comes to this Aventus DNA, but what a great, affordable and mass-appealing fragrance this is, especially if you're new to perfume. Despite its affordable price, Club de Nuit Intense Man Limited Edition Parfum Armaf is a fragrance that is designed to impress. It's a scent that is sure to turn heads and make you stand out in a crowd, without having to spend a fortune on a designer fragrance.It smells good. It’s not my favorite. It’s by far the most complimented fragrance in my collection. One of the great things about this fragrance is its versatility. It can be worn in a variety of settings, from a night out on the town to a formal event. And, as one satisfied customer recently discovered, it can hold up well in even the hottest of conditions.

It opens with mostly 30% lemon, 20% cedar, 15% smoke, 15% musk, and 10% pepper. The lemon dissipates a bit in the dry-down as the cedar, smoke, and pepper become more dominant. These notes smell mostly synthetic causing the smoke to seem a bit ashy, the cedar to smell a bit like pencil shavings, and the lemon to smell like a lemon cleaner rather than a fresh lemon. The blend smells nice in the air, but more synthetic and harsh as you get closer, including in the dry-down. Of all the cheap Aventus recreations, I think this smells second best after Mont Blanc Explorer. I can actually smell pineapple on this one instead of CDNI original harsh lemon. Then it turns into this smoky, musky vanilaish pineapple we all know from older Aventus batches. The dry down is similar to CDNI original, albeit a bit more refined and pleasing.The performance is fantastic: incredible projection combined with 12+ hours of longevity. Dazzling and vital, this uplifting fragranc... Don't blind buy this product. EDT has a nice smoky smell and lasts on clothes forever but has harsh opening. This pure parfum/limited version does not have that smokiness but also has harsh lemon floor cleaner opening. I recommend you to get EDT if you like the smoky version of it. I haven't tried any other club de nuit except the Untold recently, but this is definitely as a smooth opening as they say. Most definitely a strong lemon note at the top, with a nice blend of citrus. I don't really smell as much pineapple but maybe I have forgotten that scent. I tried this along with my girlfriend and she says she smells the Jasmine midway through. The drydown is a spicy scent, kind of like red pepper or cayenne seasoned on a meat with a flame (but with no meat obv), hence that smokey vibe people might describe. Definitely hints of leather and oak moss kind of smell even though the latter wasn't listed.
