Extremely Hot Chilli Pepper. Early to start cropping. Produces heavy crops of spicy fruits. An excellent variety for rich spicy sauces or making ristras. Very reliable. One of the earliest varieties and recognised as one of the best for forcing. Slender pink stems are juicy and sweet. A heritage variety that is reliable and easy to grow. In the kitchen: Leeks are delicious in soups, stews and pies. You can steam, fry or boil. Finely chopping leeks brings out their flavour and texture. In the kitchen: Steam lightly, or blanche. Toss with olive oil, garlic and chopped parsley once cooked for a very simple but tasty side dish. Planting advice: Plant plugs approx 15cm apart in full sun or partial shade. Protect lettuce from slugs!

Volcanic Chilli Pepper. An exceptionally hot Chilli Pepper - should be treated with respect. Crinkled fruits mature to a bright red. Gorgeous smoked citrus flavour. In the kitchen: Delicious boiled or steamed, and best eaten podded and peeled, broad beans are great in risotto, pasta dishes or smashed up with butter and served on bruschetta.

We’d recommend growing your tomatoes in a greenhouse or polytunnel if you can, if not, choose a sunny, sheltered spot in the garden. You’ll receive a complete growing guide with your plug plants when they arrive. Planting advice: Plant cauliflower plugs 40cm apart in very fertile soil. Firm in well, protect from slugs and cover with insect proof net to keep butterflies and pigeons at bay.

Medium Chilli Pepper. A delightful early, large fruiting chilli with an almost citrus flavour. Heats up as it matures. Great for stuffing, roasting, grilling - in fact most things!This is a bush variety of courgette, which means that plants are large, robust and vigorous but stay compact without sprawling. The fruit are uniform and straight, with a rich dark green colouring and a fine flavour that’s delicate and sweet enough to eat raw, straight off the plant. Growing courgettes from plug plants is very easy – plant in full sunshine, in beds or large pots, and be sure to water well. You will receive a complete growing guide with your plug plants. Planting advice: Best grown in a greenhouse. Provide support for the plant to climb, or allow to sprawl across the ground. Plant plugs 30cm apart. Harvesting: Harvest once the broccoli florets start to form. For summer sprouting varieties, this should be late summer through to autumn. For early sprouting varieties, harvest in late winter to spring. Harvest regularly for a longer crop. A sunshine yellow/orange cherry tomato with lovely flavour and texture. Easy to grow and reliable and heavy cropping. Can be grown indoor or outside.
