About this deal

Look at that, all the revising instead of aimlessly scrolling on your phone did wonders, so proud of all your hard work. Might be worth getting a DNA test sorted because I’ve no idea where you got your intelligence from. For students collecting their results, those opportunities will be greater than ever before thanks to our brand new T-levels, alongside A-levels and other vocational and technical qualifications. Although we have many great performances at the top end, with large numbers of grades 8 and 9, we want to recognise all the huge achievements from students that have been dealing with very difficult circumstances.

We’ve given lots of inspiration for those who’ve already sat their exams and got the results, but about for those still waiting to find out how well they did? Well, that’s exactly why we’ve come up with some messages for someone waiting to find out their exam results:Congratulations, you’ve successfully made it through the stressful GCSE period! Next up is A-Levels in a few years or getting your first job, you got this. I am delighted that our Year 11 students have once again done so well in their GCSEs: their results reflect huge effort and resilience over time, and a willingness to go the extra mile in terms of revision. It has been a pleasure and privilege to work with these dedicated, hard-working young people, and I am delighted that they will now be able to pursue their chosen next steps with confidence and pride.” But although there’s no getting away from teenagers comparing their results both on and offline, what can parents do to try and limit the damage this it can cause?

Whether your child’s GCSE results are high, low, or somewhere in between, one thing is inevitable – they’ll compare them with their friends’ grades. A Department for Education spokesman said: “This year, GCSE grading is largely returning to normal in line with plans set out by Ofqual almost two years ago, to ensure qualifications maintain their value and students get the opportunities they deserve.King’s Oak Academy in Kingswood has also congratulated Year 11s on their GCSE and BTEC results. A spokesperson said: "Like all schools, our student’s earlier years of secondary education were disrupted due to the pandemic, however, to their credit, and with the support of their parents and carers, friends and the staff at King’s Oak they have taken the challenges that resulted from the pandemic in their stride and showed great tenacity and resilience to ensure that they achieved their full potential in each programme of study. We wish all of our students the best for the future and look forward to hearing of their successes as they move into Post 16 learning."

Sharon Davies, CEO of Young Enterprise, a charity which helps young people navigate the changing world of work, adds: “The pressure to measure up to their friends’ achievements can be overwhelming, leading to feelings of inadequacy or disappointment.” Just wanted you to know I’m thinking about you as you get ready for your recital. Have fun with it and do your best!” As you venture out into the world, know that I am always here for you, no matter what. Whether you need a listening ear, a hug, or a home-cooked meal, I will always be your biggest supporter. Just promise me one thing: never forget to call your mother every once in a while. I promise not to embarrass you too much. The figures, published by the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ), cover GCSE entries from students in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Overall, there were around 203,000 fewer top grades (7/A) compared with last year, but there were 142,000 more top grades awarded this year than in 2019. We'll leave the final word with the principal of Snowdon Village, a family of four alternative provision schools where almost all of the Year 11 cohort have secured a place in further education. The school is open this week and next, and has been open throughout the summer to support children who have yet to secure their placements.

Proud congratulations for passing exams quotes

You were made for this” is an encouraging statement we can make about someone. If they are nervous about something coming up in their future, “you were made for this” will show them that we believe in them and we think they have made the right choice. Results day is one of my favourite days of the year as it gives our Snowdon Village Family time to reflect, celebrate and recognise the success of our Year 11 students. I’m immensely proud of every one of our students and the journey they have undertaken.

Writing tip: If you know your recipient admires a particular well-known person, past or present, see if you can find some inspiring words from that person. Brendan Hesketh, director of education at Venturers Trust, who led the school for most of last year, said: “I am incredibly proud of everything that the class of 2023 has accomplished, both in these exam results and their contribution more widely. They are without doubt a fantastic group of young people. Thank you and well done to our wonderful students for everything you have given to Montpelier High School. You are amazing. “All the best” is another common phrase. It works both formally and informally. We usually say it to people who we might not see again. It works best to refer to things happening in their future, even if we are not going to be present to find out how they get on. Academic attainment overall was in line with or above 2019 pre-Covid outcomes. The school saw some outstanding individual performances, such as Alys Wood and Maja Piwarska, who each earned eight grade nines. Children at Snowdon Village typically have significant and complex needs; many have overcome traumas and tragedy that have had significant impact upon their lives. Successfully completing their school career at Snowdon Village is something we are very proud to celebrate with them. Of course, things don’t always go to plan, and they might not have received the results they were hoping for. We’ve all been there, and it can feel like the end of the world when things don’t go our way. If this is the case, it might be worth sending them one of our send a smile cards with a heartfelt commiseration message inside:
