About this deal
Your Doorbell Pro 2 is designed to replace an existing doorbell button, and gets its power from the doorbell system. Ring your existing doorbell and listen for the chime. If it rings, you'll know your existing doorbell system is working. Follow the sound to find your chime and make a mental note of the location. We’ll return to your chime soon. Ring Protect is een uitgebreide service die opnamen, opslag en delen van video's activeert voor de Video Doorbell. Ook profiteer je van andere extra's. Er zijn twee soorten Ring Protect: Basic en Plus.
The ability to adjust motion detection on several levels is what makes this really great. If you don't like false alerts then it's worth spending a little time at setup getting this right. Firstly you can set zones, blanking out detection at street level for example, so cars and passers-by don't trigger an alert, only people approaching your door will do that.

The Ring app walks you through setting up and managing your Ring Video Doorbell. Search for “Ring” in one of the app stores below, or visit ring.com/app. Given that this is a doorbell, that’s what I’d expect, and footage is usually good enough to find a still frame that clearly identifies someone. Even so, I think that the Arlo Video Doorbell just edges it in terms of overall quality. The front light on your Ring Video Doorbell should illuminate to indicate that it's powered properly.Mount your Ring video doorbell with the two included mounting screws. If you ran the wire through your wall, be sure to feed any excess wiring into the wall first.
Connect one wire from the Pro Power Kit to the "Front" terminal and the other to the "Trans" terminal. It doesn't matter which wire you connect to which terminal. This new feature works in conjunction with activity zones, which let you set the parts of the image you want to monitor and ignore motion outside of these areas.
Never miss a thing.
It’s a neat feature, but I’d also like the option to choose a response on the fly (with a default going out after the timeout), so I could target the reply to the person at the door.
