Four Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Off Limits Rule by Sarah Adams is the first book of her “It Happened in Nashville” series. Also, let’s not forget how obsessed they both were with each other? Sure, I love boy obsessed trope but when both of them are crazy over each other? HELL YEAH One other thing that really stood out to me in this book was how random the mentions of the heroine's child were at times. He was conveniently missing from the story when necessary, there was always a babysitter available, etc. On top of that, the father of the child, who apparently was still in his son's life and was frequently referred to as a "good dad"... was weirdly missing until his portion of the storyline. The kid even goes to the hospital and the "good dad" is nowhere to be seen. However, when the heroine and hero start dating, all of the sudden, the dad is all about wanting to get with the heroine. He suddenly realized that he shouldn't have strung her along all those years and that all of the other women were just nothing in comparison to the woman he had a ONS with (and never even bothered to be nice to). This book is written like a total pie-in-the-sky fantasy for sad flabby moms everywhere. As one of the sad, flabby moms of the world, I can def. say that this book took shit too far even for me. The industry standard for “Off Limits” is two years. This means that as long as a retained recruitment firm is working for a customer the recruitment firm will not attempt to lure any employee away from that customer for a period of two years from the completion date of the latest assignment. Of course, if a second, (or more), assignment is received during that two years then the “off limits” boundary is extended as appropriate. When you enter multiple types of Calendar items for the same agent on the same day, WFM uses its internal hierarchy to resolve their status:

Lucy was one of those quirky characters with low self-esteem who could have been annoying but instead came off as hilarious and relatable. I loved her relationship with her family. She was a good mother to Levi and had her priorities straight when it came to raising him. Lucy’s relationship with her brother, Drew, was sweet and I loved how close they were. I can’t leave out her relationship with her parents. It was cool how close she was with her mom and how her parents doted on Levi. It’s as if a 13 year old wrote this. Scratch that a 13 year old can write better than this EVEN WATTPAD BOOKS ARE MORE ENJOYABLE THAN THIS

If I Marie Kondo was holding up a copy of The Off Limits Rule asking if it brought me joy, the answer would be YES. It would be a keeper. This book brought me SO MUCH joy. I loved every minute I spent reading it. I laughed constantly. It was exactly what I needed to read.
