About this deal

Jungle de Ikou... I legit think this is the first anime I watch with such contrasting elements, even knowing beforehand that it's a full fanservice anime... anyway, let's go. First, I wouldn't rate this anime as R, PG-13 would be more appropriate because there's no sex and the most revealing thing we see is Natsumi's panties. I really loved this anime because there were plenty of moments that made me laugh and the characters are so great I just wanted to keep watching. Really 700 Years Old: Ongo, despite looking and acting like a child, is very old, although he's apparently been sleeping for most of that time. Nosebleed: In episode 2, under the influence of Rongo, Nami starts getting very touchy-feely with Natsumi, prompting all the boys in the classroom to get nosebleeds.

Jungle de Ikou is another one of those prime examples of a title that banks soly on its "echhi" factor, that it doesn’t really care to make much emphasis on anything else. About the Art & Sound, I have no big issues with. Pretty decent for the age, catching OST (including the opening and ending) and overall decent. Indeed, the art was an appealing factor for me to watch it, I really like this kind of old anime artstyle, like tall/big eyes or stuff (like Slayers or GS Mikami, for example). The only thing I wish is that this anime was longer because I really wanted to know these characters more. Also, there are some parts in this anime, particularly the dance Natsumi does, that may have been too ecchi. I would rather beat my tongue wafer thin with a meat tenderizer and staple it to the ground with a croquet hoop, than watch another episdoe of Jungle De Ikou. While this is supposed to be a comedy, the characters never really become funny. The best they can get is when they are fighting among each other again, which looks like it is the main idea of the series.

If you like this anime, you might like...

Boob-Based Gag: Most of the humor of the anime revolves around large breasts, especially Mii’s enormous ones. Magical Girl: Well, a jungle-esque version of the trope, but it still applies in the traditional sense nonetheless.

Nov 28 COVER Corporation Announces hololive English VTuber Gawr Gura Collaboration with Sendai Umino-Mori AquariumEnjoyment... nope. I sure laughed in some scenes or something, but not anything else. Nothing much to elaborate in this point, honestly. Biting the Handkerchief: Rongo does this when she's spying on Ongo and Natsumi, and angsting about how they're obviously an item. In the end, they rely too much on the ecchi-jokes which are often too much to even be funny anymore. But the plot is pretty decent for a 3 episodes ova. One of Natsumi's friends. Although she hangs out with him a lot, she is disgusted with his perverted attitude. This gets worse when Mii shows up and he becomes infatuated with her. He also has frequent conflicts with his dad, whom he insults for serving peas (which he hates) with whale meat. Loves My Alter Ego: Takumi's infatuated with Mii because of her huge boobs, but thinks of Natsumi as just a friend because she's flat-chested. The irony doesn't escape Natsumi.
