About this deal

The one time ours did take off, he didn’t come off his nest properly as we were on the grass and so all we have are photos of his attempt to fly. I was lay on the floor crying into my camera and all of the million ants, spiders and woodlice underneath me. We then realised that maybe we needed more charge – so we attached my power bank to him, but to no avail. We’d run him down trying to get him to fly. It’s really clever – Owleez’ body is built perfectly for flight. Owleez tells you when he wants to eat – and comes with a little plastic berry to feed him with. Place it next to his beak and head him nibbling – he’ll also try and nibble your finger! Recreate your favourite Harry Potter scenes with the Wizarding World Enchanting Hedwig Interactive Harry Potter Owl! Featuring over 15 realistic sounds and movements and super soft plush material, Enchanting Hedwig brings the iconic Harry Potter owl to life. Remove Hedwig from her perch and discover all of her magical features.

You see, as an incurably hopeless, wish-upon-a-star daydreamer, when my first baby boy came into my life, I swiftly realised that being the parent you thought you would be, and creating family memories to treasure in the way you imagined before your baby was born [and keeping you awake all night] is a real challenge. As an exhausted mom to 3 beautiful boys aged 5-11, Keep Up With the Jones Family began as a family blog and turned into my passion. Decorations: The 4th December has been revealed to be the date that the average Brit will dig out the tinsel and tree, though Christmas cheer strikes early in the North East where the tree and tinsel go up a full month (31 days) before the big day Owleez is a new interactive toy, which is bound to be top of children’s Christmas lists for this year.

THE EYES HAVE IT WITH OWLEEZ

If your Owleez wont fly or isn’t sufficiently charged or in a good mood, he will stop half way through the take off and say no, followed by “wah wah wah”. They're based in convenient locations including supermarkets, newsagents and train stations. Plus they're often open late and on Sundays. Having an owl as a pet just isn’t an option sadly, so we have opted for the next best thing, teaching our very own baby owl how to fly.

Other interactive elements include making him burp, fall asleep and sing, with Owleez really getting into his happy little song if he is feeling particularly chirpy. Teaching our Owleez Toy how to fly! To get Owleez to fly when her eyes are white (ready to play), we lifted Owleez up and down a few times until he starts saying “weeeeee” and then a little trumpet sound is made to announce he is ready to fly! What we did find though is it does crash when it has finished. My eldest kept really worrying it was going to break but there were no issues. You mustn’t try and push the head down and place your Owleez on a flat surface. It will close alone. Then it is good to fly and again and with more practice gets better and better. Your Owleez will seem a bit sad after crashing and my eldest enjoyed patting and comforting it afterwards. Owleez needs your help to learn how to fly and in the box is the owl, some berries and a nest. Setting Owleez up Owleez’ eyes aren’t just pretty, they’re the window to his soul – quite literally. Not so great for two of my boys who are colourblind but Hero gets it and translates as fast as he can – kind of like being in emergency surgery. In Owleez’ box are a list of eye colours and corresponding needs/wants and potential outcomes from those colours. Hero yells the colour and the boys are frantically searching the list to see if they have to do anything to help him out. Owleez’ eyes will tell you what he needs – there’s a little sheet in his box which tells you what each colour means.

TAKE TO THE SKIES – A FLYING TOY

With a cute little face and adorable giant colour change eyes that reflect his mood, children can nurture and care for their Owleez, as he responds to touch and motion. My gremlin was a little more unsure at first, as she was worried it was going to break but her Owleez was fine and always survived its flight. I did worry, I must admit if we would break one of the propellers but we never seemed to. The instructions are also very comprehensive and help with troubleshooting! Just a tad difficult to find the English bit sometimes.

The next day after school we took our little pink Owl to IBM as there’s a huge amount of space there. We swooped and fed [and Lyoto discovered you could pretend you had the berry and Owleez would make nibbly noises on his finger [much to Hero’s disgust as you can see in the photos], and then fanfare! We rushed to put Owleez in the nest, I lay on the wet grass waiting to capture him in flight with my camera….and he refused. Shook his head and said no, no, no. Then the wah-wah-wah noise comes on like you lost the competition. He wanted feeding, loving – and so we spent the next half an hour with me lay on the grass whilst everyone interpreted his eyes. We had NINETEEN fanfares and EIGHTEEN refusals. I was soaked. Owleez begins to take flight – his body lifts and his little wings spin like a helicopter blade. It’s incredible to watch. Babies need to learn how to walk, and Owleez need to learn how to fly. You can teach him by swooping up and down and around so he can feel the air beneath his wings and how amazing it will be for him once he learns. We took ours on a stunt version of swooping. You can hear how much Owleez enjoys it as you go – he makes the best “woooooo, wooooo!” noises for you. Yotie swooped Owleez everywhere with him. Gettin’ some air, he said. THE EYES HAVE IT WITH OWLEEZ My eldest daughter has always had a thing about Owls and this was way before Harry Potter! Her friends always used to buy her Owl related presents from keyrings, cushions and even bedding. Therefore I am pretty sure that she would love the Owleez, the new interactive flying owl toy from Spinmaster, despite being 20! We are huge fans of Spinmaster toys, especially interactive toys like Hatchimals which offer so much fun for children. This year a new addition for 2019 is Owleez and dare I suggest that this will be one of the top Christmas toys 2019. Owleez the Flying OwlChildhood is gone in the blink of an eye [except the sleepless nights part, that lasts for decades I think] and I wanted to enjoy every moment I could and make it as fun as possible. Owls are adorable aren’t they? Think Harry Potter and Owls definitely come to mind. My work mate is a little Owl obsessed and I remember going around Birmingham and searching for them one summer when the Owls came to town.I have to say Spinmaster have done it again with this Owleez flying Owl toy. This Owleez Interactive pet is absolutely brilliant and such good fun. I really didn’t know what to expect when I saw pictures of it but after reviewing the Luvabella and Luvabeua Interactive Doll and Hatchimal Hatchibabies, I knew we we would be impressed. It’s almost like a cross between an Owl and a helicopter. This Owleez toy review will give you an idea if will be the perfect gift for your little one this Christmas. Presents: Brits are set to buy 17 gifts on average and will spend 558 minutes working through their shopping list. And while 27 percent will be planning what they buy “well in advance”, 5.3 million* Brits won’t finish their festive shopping until Christmas Eve (8 per cent)

The Owleez pink toy is very cute to look at – a small plastic bird in a bubblegum pink colour, he has a swirly blue design on the chest and blue fluff ‘feathers’ on the sides. Hatchimals is a robotic toy created by the Spin Master after Hatchimals they wanted to try something new with their existing technology features and with some new features like flying. That’s when the Owleez came out with robotic and flying features. It’s a magical land of toys, a robotic pet combined with a mini drone, drones are still pretty popular. This toy is a two-product category, helicopter hidden inside an adorable ball of fluff and color. It also has motion sensors, to pass the commands. Like Owleez toy, furrealtoys are also designed with robotic features. More About the Owleez Toy & Where to Get them You can feed, pet and fly the Owl so it does offer quite a bit in terms of play opportunities. Where to Buy Owleez the Flying Owl Out of all 3 of the boys, Oliver is the one obsessed with animals. He loves toys that need looking after and you have to care for. So when Spinmaster UK sent us Owleez an owl you can teach to fly. I knew he would really like it! Owleez Flying Owl pretty much a cross between an Owl (obviously) and a drone. You can take care of Owleez by making sure it’s well fed, burped and happy. The best thing though is you can teach it to fly!! Owleez Flying Owl When Owleez arrives in your home, he needs to be charged via a USB cable which is swirled and stored neatly under his nest base. Perch Owleez onto his nest, charge him up and don’t forget to switch him on under his bottom.Simply plug it in and wait for its eyes to change from flashing red to green. Ours took around 15 minutes on the first charge, so not a long wait at all. This toy is available in two colors (pink and white) and each set includes an owl pet, one nest for nap time, charger, and one bunch of berries for feeding. It needs to teach how to fly, play games, sing, and much more. It has three sensors on the forehead, beak, and belly for interactive play with kids and also having super-expressive eyes with colors to know the toy mood. Where did it all Start? The flying experience is fab! It’s like a Owl helicopter and the propellers really spin fast, as it is about to take off! We were all watching, thinking is it REALLY going to fly?? He’s a small, light, plastic owl – about the size of a small cantaloupe melon – which comes complete with a sweet plastic berry and a little nest of his own. I say he, because for some reason I call all animals and toys of animals boys out of habit. This is our Owleez. He is bubblegum pink with blue swirls and feathers. Our Owl is bubblegum pink with a blue swirly belly patter and two little tufty wings. He has big wide eyes – which are very important. When the trumpet fanfare sounds, return Owleez to his nest ready for take off. TEACH OWLEEZ TO FLY Owleez love interacting with you – Jens took ours on a little parkour trip.
