The most common sizes are 15, 22 and 28 mm To choose the right Kingspan kooltherm phenolic foam pipe insulation for your application you will first need to know the type of pipe you are insulating and also its size or outer diameter. Copper pipes are thinner, so if the pipe size is 15mm, a 15mm pipe section will work for your application. Occasionally you will get bend in the pipe which you will need to follow with your run of insulation. The easiest way to deal with this is to notch our 30° cuts from the inside of the bend in the insulation. Generally you will find that there are two numbers written of the lagging.
