Similarly, the artwork feels a lot more consistent this time around. The boards and cards play host to a painterly style and gorgeous blend of colors that really pop off the table. It feels more like what we've come to expect from the Villainous series. A twist on the beloved deduction card game that’s more than just a different theme As it is in the original Love letter game, each card in Infinity Gauntlet has a different power. Great things: 1. Game play has slightly changed with the addition of battles that will throw a loop in the entire gameplay.Wow! It really just added some great elements to one of the longest board game there could possibly be. The infinity gauntlet spaces work perfectly and make this a far better monopoly than the many I have. Also, the children of Thanos spaces are truly a hit; they made tension and (more) excitement part of the game. However, two factors that take this down a little bit (not enough to give it 4 stars) is that there are way too many tokens when the game is specifically designed for 6 players and there are twice that number, which could have really been fun if expanded on that idea just like Super Mario Party did with the allies, they became an instant hit and a more than welcome addition. The other factor is that unlike the Game of Thrones and Star Wars Edition monopolys the hotels and houses are not customized to fit with this edition which takes away a little of the immersion into the Avenger’s world that the game clearly tries to recreate, and successes on it; for the most part. The game set hero holder is very cheap plastic. It is a nightmare pulling out peices because the plastic is basically molded around them. You spend a half hour trying not to tear the cheap plastic so you can display them again when you are finished. They should have just left space to protect but allow users to pull then out without damaging the cheap plastic.

The Events hit home more effectively this time as well. They're not perfect by any means (some can reduce Loki or M.O.D.O.K's score to the lowest amount, which is a bit harsh - particularly if you're close to winning) but they don't seem quite as punishing as they could be before.Save the galaxy from the threat of the Mad Titan in this intense board game The plastic figure of Thanos in the middle of this board definitely makes the game stand out. As is only appropriate for an assassin, she weaponises the Vanquish action; offing heroes can count toward either a Vendetta score that wins her the game or a Contract that provides resources. Players have to choose one or the other, and because Vanquishing is the only way to gain Power tokens that can pay for her ability cards (there's no 'Gain Power' icon on her board), it leads to a real balancing act that feels fresh. If a player manages to match the die faces with the element of a hero’s card then they recruit that hero to their team and now have their special abilities to call upon during their turn. If they can do the same with a villain card then they will cause a damage counter to be placed on the villain and, as with the heroes, once the last damage is placed on a villain they are removed from the game and you are one step closer to victory. Play then passes to the next player who follows the process.
