Named Tybo, a word derived from the Shoshone, meaning “white man’s district,” the settlement began to boom the following year when the Tybo Consolidated Mining District was formed. I loved Alasdair's uncles. They are hilarious and they mean well but sometimes go about things the wrong way. Alasdair and Sophie make such a sweet couple, I was really rooting for them. I have been reading this series since it began and these books just get better and better. I cannot recommend this series enough.

If a tie-dye kit is targeted at children, then testing is mainly done by that age group, while considering the level of adult supervision required. (If dealing with permanent dye, we suggest a parent is on hand, even with more able children.) Finally, we take note of the vibrancy of the dyes and quality of all the elements that make up the kit. Why is he randomly single and trying to keep himself entertained with a mortal he knows is not his life mate to begin with? This seemed to be a storyline inconsistency that can happen in long series like this. The mystery in the book had me thinking I knew what the answer was from pretty early on, but then second guessing myself part way through until I suspected everyone! It was a great storyline and I'm glad it was resolved in the way it was

In 1881 the Tybo Consolidated Mining Company failed when the quality of ore dropped dramatically, and by the end of the year, Tybo’s population had been reduced to only about 100 people. Three years later, in 1884, much of the once prosperous community was destroyed by a disastrous fire that leveled 32 buildings. In 1879 the company closed the smelters, putting 400 men out of work, and adopted the new process of crushing and roasting the ore. Tybo became less profitable as silver-rich surface ore at the Two-G yielded to greater proportions of zinc and lead. The Treadwell-Yukon Company revived operations in 1929, but the post office closed for good in October 1937. Few buildings but plenty of foundations survive, and Tybo still claims a few residents. Just around the next bend are more fragments of buildings that once created a life for those who dared to live here.

Tybo sits on the eastern slope of the Hot Creek Range in Nye County, Nevada. Shoshone Indians alerted whites to canyon-side silver veins in 1866. In 1870 James W. Gally and M.V.B. Gillett claimed the main silver lode, which became the Two-G Mine. The boom began in 1874, officials platted a town and buildings sprang up.

It’s actually really easy and relatively mess-free to use: the dyes come in tiny squeezy bottles, which you squeeze into the slime that’s housed in a petri dish-style container. The company had come to a point where it was not a nice family project anymore but a cause of conflict instead, as they wanted different things with the design and glaze of the pottery. Overall, this was another good romance for this series and I can’t wait to read the next book. Hopefully we will see Alasdair’s twin brother Colle or some of his uncles finally find their life mates because I really liked them and want to see more of them. The story: Alasdair’s four Scottish uncles were also at the wedding and as soon as the four rogue hunters found out that he had found his life mate, they were determined to help him woo the girl. Though Alasdair would rather the four nosy uncles would stay out of it, he knew they were like dogs with a bone. The uncles were very Scottish and absolutely hilarious.
