Using props that fit the wedding’s theme is a nice idea. Using wedding decoration colors is also a good idea if there is no specific theme. You can include the flowers that are used as decoration, too. The word boudoir comes from the French language. A boudoir was an area where the woman could have time to herself. Depending on the budget, this area could be a whole room or an area separated by a divider.

Do not feel embarrassed to ask to do nude boudoir photos. Your photographer is a professional and they know how nervous you are going to be. They will definitely break the ice so that you can be you. Your boudoir photographer will explain to you what the dos and don'ts are and the different styles, like Implied nude photography vs nude art. All you have to do is show up and try to relax! You may choose to do full nude photos, partial or implied. It all depends on your comfort level. Beautiful, sexy boudoir photography doesn’t depend on full nudity. I am adult enough to understand the import of a clean living space, and I'm also adult enough to understand that a vacuum cleaner does not add value to any nude photo. Apparently, though, I'm not adult enough to act on either of these notions. Plan it, be intentional, and by all means, build up anticipation. Tell your partner, early in the week that you have a planned a sexy surprise for the two of you for Saturday Night. Keep your sweetie in the dark. Don’t give too much away but drop hints all week long. Every hint allows your partner to relax, and feel special. Your partner will enjoy allowing someone else doing all the work, and feeling truly treasured. Rarely do we get fun sexy surprises as adults.

i. We recommend moisturising your skin regularly in the run-up to the day, as well as applying a light moisturiser on the morning of your shoot. As you will have a lot of skin on show, hair removal (if desired) is important too but we recommend getting this done a couple of days before, or on the morning if this works for you. I included this outtake shot in my selects because not only does she look gorgeous, but it triggers memories of a fun shoot (this was the moment after I had just teased her for gripping the couch for dear life) and shows Karen’s sense of humor about herself.
