All deliveries within mainland England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland are via a parcel or courier service between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday – Friday. We do not dispatch on weekends or bank holidays. Racegoers are encouraged to dress smartly in the Premier Enclosure. Most would wear smart trousers, a shirt and formal shoes or a dress or trouser suit with a hat or fascinator, but these are not compulsory. We understand being dressed smartly means different things to different people but if helpful, our guidance is to treat a day at the races as similar to a wedding. Fancy dress and sports shirts are not permitted. We ask that you do not bring unnecessary bags or luggage into the racecourse. Bags larger than 40cm x 35cm x 19cm will not be allowed into the venue Cross surcingles should be fastened so you can fit a hand’s breadth between the surcingles and the horse’s body. This means that the straps are tight enough to prevent legs becoming caught should the horse lie down, but not so tight to cause discomfort.

Access to the Garden Enclosure with an Annual Badge will not be possible during sell-out events. During these sell-outs and closures, picnics can only be consumed in our car parks. A badly fitting rug will slip and could cause discomfort or even injury for the horse, and could result in damage to the rug itself.
