About this deal

In a one on one match, your target is easy. Do whatever you can to make sure you win before the other guy. In a free-for-all match, things get more complicated. Let's look at an all too common scenario in a three way free-for-all match. These spells indirectly impact multiple targets. They affect the game indiscriminately, often times impacting the caster as well as their opponents. Multi-Flash cards ignore creature abilities that prevent them from being the target of spells and effects because they are not directly targeted. These are powerful spells that can be expensive and drastically change the lay of the game. Examples of Multi-Flash spells include Life Stream, Mass Growth and Freeze Cyclone. When you do decide to venture online, get ready to lose. You will lose. The online community is full of brilliant and creative strategists. Bust out the notebook. Write down the combos and strategies you see and try adapting them to your own style. Think of ways to fortify your book to answer the problems online play presents. Don't get discouraged – given enough time and effort, you'll be giving as much as taking from the online community, and you'll love it. IT'S NOT OVER UNTIL IT'S OVER

Note: If you're new to the game (or just want to brush up on the fundamentals), you'll want to start with the Beginner's Guide. Player A is somebody who you've developed a bit of a rivalry with. You know their preference is a slow and steady game plan and most of their books are Water or Air focused. Therefore, before you even begin, you're preparing yourself to face a Defensive or slow paced Offensive concept. Or, they have a book that is a favorite of theirs with a specific cover. You can see what's coming if you pay enough attention.

Culdcept Revolt has a full and diverse library of cards. Many of these are straightforward and leave little to the imagination on how you use them. Then there are those cards with a bit more complexity that you can figure out with a bit of extra effort. Lastly, there are THOSE cards... the ones that you can't fathom what purpose they have in this game. "Sure, I suppose you could do this with this... but... why?" When adding cards to your book ask yourself the following question: Does this belong? Do you want to add a Storm Spear to a book filled with Fire and Earth creatures? Sure, it gives your creature +20ST, but you miss out on the critical hit bonus because the elements don't match. Magma Hammer would be the optimal choice here because you get the +20ST AND the critical hit bonus. Let's say you're making a book focused on Goobas. You'd likely want to add Branch Army, Mudman or Magma Flail because you'll already be flooding the map with Earth creatures and all three of those cards directly benefit from this strategy.

The complete card list for Culdcept Revolt and various sub-lists of specific types of cards (creatures, items, spells, etc.) Don't see a particular sub-list you need? Send us a request and we'll add it! First, it stops the leader on your opponent's land for their turn. This provides you and your opponent's at the very minimum with another round to prevent them from winning on their next turn. Finally, Boost creatures do NOT benefit themselves. If there is one Borgess in play and it gets invaded, it does not receive its +20HP to Neutral creatures. It will, however, receive the benefit from another Borgess if it's in play.Note: Creatures with land limits will not be able to move onto those specifically limited elemental territories. Creatures with land limits can always occupy Multi-Elemental territories. Jump to: Synergy ~ Trimming ~ Drawing ~ Diversion ~ Map ~ Self ~ Targeting ~ Meta ~ Think ~ Cards ~ Toes BOOK SYNERGY There is a 1-1 correlation between ST and summoning cost adjustment, and a 1-2 correlation between MHP and summoning cost adjustment. That is, every 5 ST costs +5G, and every 5 MHP costs +10G. So, for example, a 40/50 dragon will cost 60G (because it requires ST+20 (+20G) and MHP+20 (+40G) to obtain it from the base 20/30 puppy dragon with 0G cost). These are the specific combat abilities of your creatures. For example, if a Thief is invading a territory and has not equipped an item, this is the point when they will steal their opponent's item. A Red Cap with five Goblins in play will adjust their stats at this point. ENCHANTMENT MODIFIERS: This section will go over the two primary types of creature abilities in Culdcept Revolt. These are Board Abilities and Combat Abilities. BOARD ABILITIES

Let's start with knowing when to invade. If you're having problems with unforeseen circumstances, ask these questions to help you determine whether it's worth invading or not. WHAT ITEMS DO THEY HAVE? Let's illustrate the point in an extreme way. Let's take a 50 card book and have each card put in x4. 50/4 = 12 with a remainder of 2. That gives you 13 different cards to work with in any given match. No, let's reduce every card to x3. 50/3 = 16 with a remainder of 2. You now have 17 different cards to work with. Finally, let's bring that number down to 2. 50/2 = 25. That is literally double the amount of options you had when building with x4 everything.

These books feature a little bit of everything. They have all of the elements represented in some fashion. If built right, they can be very balanced with great flexibility. These concepts run into issues when there isn't a clear objective in mind, however. It can also be taxing trying to prioritize what territories you want to focus on. Multi-Elemental tiles are unique lands that provide a land bonus to any elemental creature occupying it the same way a standard elemental tile would. It will not naturally provide a Land Bonus to Neutral creatures. They also do not chain with other elemental tiles. Because Multi-Elemental lands do not have a specific element, any creature occupying a Multi-Elemental tile will be affected accordingly. SPECIAL TILES

The subsequent Culdcept games each take place in their own world, which was created by a champion of a former world, who rules over it as its god or goddess. This has caused exponential growth and a nigh-infinite amount of worlds to be created.Because Saint is Neutral, it gains +20HP from the Borgess boost ability. This increases Saint from 40HP to 60HP. Moves on to defender boost modifier. Defending Boost Modifier: Every card with the Synthesis ability has a discard requirement. The additional effects of Synthesis activate when the appropriate card listed with the ability is discarded with the casting cost. Let's look at the card Werebear to help illustrate the point. Opponent 1 has been leading the match all game. They've come across a slight bit of misfortune by paying a large toll, bringing them down to 90G in hand. They have several large territories across the map and have one Storm Shield that is keeping you from taking a key territory you've been eyeballing for several rounds.
