I would recommend this to not just hardcore Christians but also people who want to know more about Christ and his story without sitting through a church service or tackling the bible and getting lost in complicated wording!

I especially liked the unorthodox visions of angels that appear with a "Whooosh" as opposed to "Shazam! Manga Majesty brings all things to conclusion with the story of John’s Revelation on the island of Patmos.All the characters in this book are wide-eyed in innocence and most of them have flawless skin and winsome smiles. We have not stopped working on new translations of the NEXTMANGA series so that more and more manga fans around the world can read the story of God’s redemption on earth through the massively popular Japanese MANGA art form. Manga Messiah" is proof that there are always fresh ways to retell the story at the heart of the Christian faith. At least they tried, but most of the Christian Manga out there is focused on the bible, or martyrs of the faith. Appealing to kids and adults, readers will find this edgy rendition of the Gospel accounts both compelling and highly engaging.

I am really impressed of how much effort was taken through art, bubble conversations, and also on biblical accuracy. Manga Messiah begins with the fulfillment of the Old Testament prophecies through the birth of Yeshua. We have the NEXT manga books in the following languages: Arabic, Armenian, Chinese, Dutch, English, French, Khmer, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Tagalog and more. In all honesty, this is one of the best rendition Graphic-Manga-Novel series that depicts the life of Jesus apart from "The Picture Bible" that I once grew up with.

Lidal was persistent, and continued his vision to produce the six book series, with four covering the Old Testament and two covering the New Testament portions of the Christian Bible.
