I recently purchased the Brother MFC-L8690CDW Colour Laser Printer for my home office, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way.

If you look you will not find any details of warranty, but you've probably already guessed Brother state 12 months. The scan settings can be changed using the printers control panel to best suit your requirements before starting the job.It gives users the ability to connect to any compatible printer nearby and eliminates the need for additional drivers or software.

Given the bulk, it’s a pity the Brother MFC-L8690CDW cannot accommodate A3 paper like the excellent Brother MFC-J5330DW, which has similar dimensions.Productivity is increased significantly thanks to the fast print speeds of up to 31ppm, and 2-sided scan speeds of up to 56ipm in colour and mono. Rather than relying on the manufacturer’s quoted figures, we time the first page out and print speeds in single sheet and duplex mode using a standard ten-page document and a stopwatch app. Standard Tray - A4, Letter, A5, A5(Long Edge), A6, Executive, Legal, Folio, Mexico Legal Multi Purpose Tray- Width: 76. As a 4-in-1 device, the Brother MFC-L8690CDW can print, scan, copy and fax and being a premium model from Brother’s stable, it has plenty of other features too.

It has a particularly light touch with plain text, which makes it possible to print very small font sizes with no loss of clarity.
