The fantastic colouring by Tomeu Morey also elevates the artwork to undisputable grounds of exquisite visual storytelling. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do.This story arc marks the fourth time in a row that Gotham City has successfully fallen under the control of a villain who has forced the Bat-Family to go into hiding as fugitives while Bruce recuperates from a brutal defeat. The sense of urgency he weaves into the story is palpable, and his portrayal of Gotham’s descent into further darkness is captivating. Unfortunately, Zdarsky doubles down when he has Red Mask/Joker infect the entire city with poison gas, because that’s not something we’ve seen a million times already, either. Chip Zdarsky’s narrative prowess shines through, accompanied by Jorge Jiménez’s evocative artwork that breathes life into the city’s grim and captivating landscape.

This month, though, it’s not doing anything for me because what happens here feels like a distraction rather than an organic continuation of the story so far. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies.This is truly a great stepping stone for Chip Zdarsky, who loves to see his characters suffer, with self-hating monologues with which they question their entire careers. And in the backup, there’s chaos in Gotham as the underworld fights over one of its crown jewels… and Selina Kyle is caught in the middle. ow did an angry, damaged young man grow into the most accomplished detective and crime-fighter the world has ever known? While walking with Bruce, they find a corpse that has red markings, and see that Zatara was talking to a demon name Shantoz. In this issue we see him getting stabbed through the shoulder and shrugging it off like it’s nothing, even grabbing the sword and using it to fight his opponent—it’s barely an inconvenience.
