In recent time, Elys has been awarded second place in the Macmillan Prize and was also shortlisted for the Waterstone’s ‘Picture This’ prize.You guys are such a force for good and I am a passionate supporter of Indie booksellers, so I'm so happy this worked out well (I'd love to know how many books were sold if you have it to hand - it felt like quite a lot! I haven't charted out my visits for the summer term, but I'm sure there are several in the south) and thanks so much for being so fantastic! Based in Cambridge, when Elys is not drawing she grows cacti, collects pocket watches and spends altogether too much time in the company of other illustrators. Packed with cross-over humour to amuse kids and big kids too with artwork full of details for poring over time and time again. I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly!

Bronnie is so lovely with the boys and we also felt that having a man enthusing about the books set a great example. Fans of Matty Long's Super Happy Magic Forest will enjoy the humour and speech bubble style, and there are plenty of small details to spot and enjoy many times over.
