About this deal

I am a big lad, and do struggle with weight issues, saw the program on the telly and thought bang on, tasty looking dinners and no too hard to make, ok so it is the telly and obviously edits and whatever will make it seem easier than what it is but why no give it a go if it doesn’t work then back to a chippy tea, had the book for about three weeks and have made about 12/13 recipes. This is a lower-calorie diet with a difference - it's based on hunger-satisfying portions of delicious, lower-calorie dishes that taste amazing. Acquired this earlier in the year to lose some weight and having enjoyed the accompanying tv series.

I'm going to enjoy making many of these recipes for the whole family without telling them they are low calorie meals, that way i can try and discretely stay on a diet but without having to prepare two different meals at each sitting. The focus is on the food that we can and should be eating to lose weight, which is easy to make and won't make you feel as though you are missing out . Have recently purchased a few 'healthier' eating books and after trying a good few recipes out, this book (along with his Lose Weigh Get Fit) is in my opinion the best. The focus is on the food that we can and should be eating to lose weight, which is easy to make and won’t make you feel as though you are missing out. Now Tom is turning his attention to helping food-lovers who have chosen a lower-calorie diet as their own route to weight-loss. However I did find the vast majority of them in my local supermarket in areas on aisles I've never really visited before.

Michelin-starred chef Tom Kerridge has been developing top recipes for nearly three decades and knows how to make things taste good. Loved the tv series not just because l could do with losing a few pounds but Tom is my favourite tv chef.Similar to Ton's story from the book I turned 40 recently and wasn't too happy with the way I looked and I have been trying for the last couple of months to get down to my ideal body weight which means losing 2-3 stone. One of two other highly lauded diet books seem to consist of meals that whilst are low in calories, do not seem to contain that many healthy ingredients. So far what I have made has been tasty and filling (lot of corgettes), but personally I find some of the recipes not complicated but fiddly, too many ingredients in some, but this is maybe because I am trying the recipes for the first time so I’m continually checking the page to see if I am doing it right, which with the one layer lasagne I obviously didn’t because the amount of liquid in the dish I had left in the dish, no no no no I definitely didn’t get that right no idea courgettes dripped out water. With a full vegetarian section, and even low calorie, but not restricted desserts, this is a life saviour for sure.

He also understands how much willpower it takes to shift unhealthy excess weight, because he has lost over 11 stone in the last four years by following a low-carb diet.Tom also uses some very creative ways of incorporating flavour to the dishes without the calories which is an incredible achievement to me, as Tom has managed to make Healthy Food Interesting, Enjoyable and keeps you feeling full through the day. A lovely jolly down to earth approach from a man i knew little about, but who is a wonderful advert for his recipes and book.

Tasty and interesting recipes, full of flavour, for low calorie food, they are delicious, some of the recipes do take a time to complete but are well worth the wait, there are also some quick dishes if you don't have a lot of time, there are clever swaps to use less calories.

Many thanks to the chef/author for including so many "comfort" dishes that would normally be no go for dieters. So I've developed lots of tasty and satisfying recipes that people will love to cook and eat, but that will also help them lose weight.
