About this deal

This one is broken up into four chapters, the first three covering the original films, with the fourth covering all the merchandise including toys, video games, and comics. Todo ello con unas fotos BRUTALES, un nivel de información BESTIAL, y unos extras magníficos (desplegables, postales, concepts arts, bocetos, las fichas de acceso. Extremely well written and carefully put together, it presents a series of great inserts that vary from stickers to storyboards, from concept artworks to transcriptions of creative meetings between the movie authors. Additionally, but somewhat understandable, is the fact that all 3 movies pretty much get equal billing however there’s but one paragraph referring to the new trilogy, which have had next to no coverage when it comes to printed “making of” material.

Fans will also discover a fascinating look at the wider world of the saga, including the Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, video games, toys, comics, theme park attractions, and more. For example, I don't think I ever realized how dangerous the hurricane that hit during the shoot of the first film actually was.My only criticism is for the way the inserts are placed into the book, glue dots are used that leave greasy marks on the inserts and pages, they also don't hold the inserts firmly in place so when you finish looking through the book you need to straighten some of the inserts as they can move outside of the book covers and easily get damaged.

Hoewel bij de Europese release (door Titan Books) staat dat het boek 192 pagina's bevat, is het (net als de US release) gewoon 256 pagina's dik. It’s beautiful, almost interactive in its design with inserts and pictures galore and full of interesting facts and behind the scenes nuggets. I was 12 when it came out, we queued round the block on premiere night in my home town and didn't get in. James Mottram crafted a real masterpiece, a must-have for any Jurassic Park fan and for any cinema lover. Why publish an otherwise attractive book, squarely aimed at collectors, and effectively ruin it with splodges of silicone.

Unearth the story behind the making of the Jurassic World trilogy with this definitive collector’s book, a must-have for fans of the action-packed saga.

Following the release of director Colin Trevorrow’s smash hit Jurassic World in 2015, the dinosaurs of Isla Nublar once again dominate the public imagination. Packed with behind the scenes details, not afraid to show the bad bits and chock full of imagery, some of which I've never seen. A must have for all fans as it is very in depth about the 'making of' and gives a lot of behind the scenes anecdotes and facts. This book covers the complete history of the original Jurassic park trilogy, with most of the book taken up with how the original Jurassic park from 1993 was made, from the Michael Crichton novel, the changes they made to make it into the classic movie it became, to the casting and how all the CGI was done, which was groundbreaking at the time to bring the dinosaur's to life.
