About this deal

They are pretty moisturizing, I’ve heard so many people saying that these aren’t moisturizing but for me they are. One of my favorite things about this lip balm is the adorable little plastic tub it comes in, it is so nice and the little label with the lips on it is so cute. I think it product is targeted to the younger audience because the range has these funky names like Satsuma Shimmer, Raspberry, Strawberry and Pink Guava. Unlike other fatty acids, ricinoleic acid has an extra water-loving part (aka -OH group) on its fatty chain that gives Castor Oil several unique properties.

Another fruity favourite, our Swipe It Lip Balm will give your pout a moisture hit and silky smooth finish. As an example, it mentions that Ci 19140 may cause itching and hives in some people but the colorant is always labeled so that you can avoid it if you are sensitive.

You can simply apply it by using your fingers, which I know sounds a bit unhygienic, but unless it’s only you using it and your fingers are all clean, then it’s fine. Infused with sweet scented Raspberry seed oil that will also keep you coming back for more to this product. The consistency of these is a lot more sticky than most lip balms but I actually like that, this doesn’t simply coat the lips like petroleum jelly but it doesn’t instantly absorb either and I always prefer a lip balm that’s more sticky than waxy.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. The formula of these is really nice, it is a bit sticky and you do have to apply it with your fingers, but I’m fine with applying it with my fingers and the stickiness doesn’t really bother me. I did find it a little sticky (for girls that may be an issue with longer hair) but not for me :) It tastes and smells amazing. That’s why a product containing linalool that has been opened for several months is more likely to be allergenic than a fresh one.I have tried three different ones, Watermelon, Raspberry and Strawberry, and they all smell wonderful. Unlike a lot of fruity lip balms I like the tint in the fact that it’s not a white lip balm that will leave white cast on my lips. Lips: we use them to kiss, chat, smile—all the important stuff—so rightly so, we need to look after them. The watermelon lip balm is a very subtle lip balm (in colour) but does leave your lips with a nice shine. This is my Holy Grail lip care product that I use before applying any of the lip makeup product because I don’t trust lip products because some tend to be veryyyy drying!

The latter one, the humectant property, is surprising and comes from the unique property of ricinoleic acid (the dominant fatty acid in castor oil) having an extra water-loving -OH group on its otherwise oil-loving fatty chain. I would repurchase this and I have used one up in the past, maybe I’d get a different scent though that my boyfriend likes too! We’ve got lip balms, lip butters, lip roll-ons and other lip care products, formulated with your smile in mind. Compared to the pure form it's more stable, has longer shelf life, but it's also more poorly absorbed by the skin.So it's still cold outside - I got into the car this morning and it was -6 ℃ - this is one of the perks of getting up at 4.
