After all the positive comments to this fragrance I was so curious, that I immediately bought my own bottle here in the souk. It then blends with a warm and sensual heart note of lavender and nutmeg, adding a sophisticated and masculine dimension to the scent. I would say 9 out of 10 would have no issues with it, but there will always be someone who doesn’t agree. whereby I always met the company a certain open-mindedness, since the wardrobe from the same house always counted to my favorite brands. Now the juice very fresh and starts out with citrus, goes through a lavender/minty/pepper stage and the dry down is soft and a little sweeter, not overly sweet either.In the meantime I have it some time and could test the smell development accordingly and find out when it is the most pleasant to wear. Lanvin L'Homme's most prominent opening notes - lime, mint and lavender - have a clear similarity to the classic Tommy Hilfiger scent, Tommy, from the same nose. In the further process cardamom, mint and sage can be perceived fast, paired with lavender, perhaps also pepper resonates, which I cannot clearly identify however. This creation reincarnates the essence of French elegance, a classic air intermingled with luxury and simplicity.
