Easy to use: No need to worry about editing or uploading digital photos; simply point, shoot, and watch your photos develop. Definitely recommend this film, but know what you're getting into so you don't get disappointed when your results aren't perfect! In my experience it has lasted well past the expiry date - I've shot packs over a year expired and they were fine, so you don't need to worry about shooting it all at once.

Polaroid changed consumer photography in the 60s by condensing all of the darkroom processes and chemicals inside the camera itself to create the first "Instant" photography. The most popular format is Fuji Instax Mini, but Polaroids have that classic instant look and there are loads of their second-hand cameras out there.

Both of these cameras can use I-Type film, Polaroid Originals 600 film, and vintage Polaroid 600 film. And because OneStep 2 and Now cameras have their own rechargeable batteries, Polaroid doesn’t have to put one in the film. This black and white i-Type film is compatible with the Polaroid OneStep 2, OneStep+, the Polaroid Now, and the Polaroid Lab. Although it is compatible with Polaroid Now, Polaroid Now+, Polaroid Lab, OneStep 2, and OneStep+, it won't work with vintage Polaroid cameras due to its battery-free feature. Our i-Type cameras have their own i-Type film, battery-free, unlike the standard film for vintage cameras (meaning it's easier on the wallet) and optimized for the Polaroid OneStep 2 camera.

In short, I-Type film is a new format made by Polaroid Originals (now simply ‘Polaroid’ after a recent rebranding) that only works with new Polaroid cameras. It also went ahead and (as of summer 2020) released three new I-Type cameras, the Now, OneStep 2, and the OneStep+. All I-Type cameras can still use 600 film, including (if you somehow have it) vintage Polaroid 600 film from before 2008, it’ll just ignore the battery and use its own. Made in the Netherlands, the Polaroid Color i-Type allows you to transform an iconic moment in your life into a dreamy Polaroid colour. I'm a fan of Polaroid and used Polaroid iType film many times in recent years but I tried it out recently in my Polaroid Lab.With Polaroid i-Type Film - Colour, you can capture your favourite moments and watch them develop right before your eyes. Founded in 1937 and run by Edwin Land for four decades, the company was famous for its culture of engineering-based innovation, but unfortunately like Kodak and Fuji it failed to cope with the digital revolution. For best results we also recommend using the flash for outdoor shots, unless it's a bright sunny day.
