While it is significantly more watered down, and heavier on the vanilla and powder components, it has enough of the Lolita DNA for the nostalgia. They're certainly not the same, but both have an almond-cherry-violet-iris thing going on which is very sweet and youthful.

I'd love a 1 oz bottle of this (I probably would spring for the old bottle because it's just so magical and mysterious, I prize my mini bottle and just like everyone else I express how much it sucks they updated the bottle). The bottle is made of transparent glass in red in the shape of an apple and the golden cap has an engraved heart pierced with an arrow. I like cherry scents like Midnight Fantasy by Britney Spears, so I thought I would give this a try as well. My violet craving is almost satisfied with this, but more than anything it's the spiced cherry vanilla I love so much. Trying it again now, 20 years later (yes, the formula has probably changed), I find it to be very heavy on the vanilla and praline which gives it a syrupy, thick sweetness. while i love the nostalgia factor (it really really brings me back to my early childhood) i dont see myself ever wearing this. It is predominantly sweet, but brought down to earth with florals, woods, spice, and a bit of warm powder. my LL is made in 2013(it's scent has not changed even a bit in ten years) and it has moderate longevity and sillage on me.

The aromas are incredibly feminine and shroud in a halo of charm and attractiveness, noticeable to others. I couldn’t accuse the young woman , although I knew she had taken the perfume (the next morning she came to work wearing it).
