I pulled this out of the box after being put away for spring summer and fall, and wore it for the first time in 10 months. I got caught up in the hype of this product, the description made it sound like the perfect combination of rum, coffee, and whiskey, so how could it not be amazing? Lot of people trashing on this fragrance because they expected more with the amount of hype from YouTubers but believe it or not, this stuff isn’t bad. Prominent coffee note, mixed with warm cinnamon, sweet vanillic tonka, and boozy whiskey to create this sweet yet rich coffee aroma.
This one is generally good and gets good first reactions, however after wearing a decant for a while I got feedback it may get boring after quite some time and that's my feel to it as well.Don't reccomend to wear at dates for dates wear something like jpg le male elixir wich is sweet sexy and insane performance wise. I do enjoy the smell though, the axe temptation era was before my time so I don't have that to associate to, it's just a shame it's so weak.
Top notes open the intriguing and captivating composition with a warm and soothing duet of cardamom and lavender, framed by contrasting, energizing lemon accord. Coffee already is a subjective scent, some people hate coffee although if you like coffee this is the perfect coffee note. Strong performer as I get more than 7+ hours on skin with just 2 sprays with 2 hours of solid projection. Bought this after seeing all the hype and good reviews it got, but I was really disappointed when I received it today.
Slight cardamom, synthetic amber resins, no leather and aroma chemicals scattered all over the place. The coffee note is instantly recognizable, followed by a decent dose of cardamom and a little touch of brightness from the lemon and lavender. On this occasion and warning us in advance of his nocturnal character, he dresses in a navy blue suit, which slowly degrades to black.
It is worth noting that the strong coffee notes in this scent make it a bit polarising, and not recommended for those who do not enjoy the scent of fresh java. The smoky base notes of tonka bean, amber and incense give the fragrance its sexy, sophisticated finish.
