There are stars around the edge of this clock as a countdown guide, another visual aid for the children. You can use it as a nightlight, or for night feeds with a small baby – we have 2 of these Gro-Lights and have been using them for both purposes.

As it is very visual the child can instantly see if the clock is still blue in the night then it’s not time to wake up yet, perfect for those who can’t yet tell the time. It was quite repetitive explaining she's not to wake up mummy and daddy until the clock turns yellow but after a few weeks she really got the hang of it (coupled with a sticker chart)! Used it since she was 10 months old so she understood while the blue star was on it was night time and she was only allowed out of her cot when the sun came up, she's now almost 4 and we say if she's too awake to go back to sleep before the sun comes up, she is allowed to play in her room when there's 1 star left, any more and it's too early she needs to try and go back to sleep.
