The properties of Actinica's products are the following ones: very high sun protection, long-lasting protection, high tolerance formula, durable hydration of the skin and resistance to water. Bis Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine, Ethylhexyl Triazone, Isoamyl p-Methoxycinnamate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Methylene Bis-Benzotriazoyl Tetramethylbutylphenol, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Propylparaben, Methylparaben, Excipient. The cosmetic's industry is trying to solve the problem by combining avobenzone with other UV filters that enhance its stability (like octocrylene, Tinosorb S or Ensulizole) or by encapsulating it and while both solutions help, neither is perfect.

For optimal protection, apply Actinica® Lotion every morning to areas of the body that are not covered by clothing and are therefore exposed to UV rays. Actinica Lotion is used for the prevention of certain forms of non-melanoma in high-risk patients (immunosuppressed). It can also help to stabilize other less stable sunscreens, like Octinoxate and is generally happy to work together with other UV-filters. The lack of fragrances and conventional PEG emulsifiers ensures that the lotion is well tolerated so that it can also be used on very sensitive skin. Regarding Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine side effects, we have good news here as well: it has a great safety profile and unlike a couple of other chemical sunscreens, Trinosorb S (and M) does not show estrogenic activity.

With other sunscreens, I applied 1/2 hour before going outside multiple times a day and wore a hat and it didn't protect my dark spots, they stung my eyes and didn't really blend in.
