About this deal

Tout d’abord j’ai eu la chance que Leabookjoy m’offre la version manuscrit qui est tout juste sublime. not every story has a happy ending, but most do, if you’re brave enough to keep reading until the end. You’re brave, strong, an unstoppable force for good—which I admire even though it’s very inconvenient for me personally—and you drive me mad with lust, especially when you’re stomping around in that giant suit of armour. Elisabeth, Nathaniel, and Silas are all given opportunities to shine and all of their relationships with each other are given their time in the spotlight. I really liked Sorcery of Thorns when I first read it, so the moment I picked this up I knew that I was going to love it and that I would love seeing what happened to these characters I loved.

We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. Sweet, sweet Elisabeth is a cure for the soul, with her compassion and loyalty, and the way she keeps dotting on Nathaniel like he is the most precious thing in the world (because he is! He does so much for both of them and he will help them with anything even if they don’t ask for his help.Nosy reporters are still trying to find out all the juicy gossip, and everyone is constantly being locked in the house without an absolute solution to keeping the doors open. Jordan: Aside from the romantic scenes, the exploration of all the secret rooms in Thorn Manor was my favorite aspect. Those of you who like Sorcery's ending just the way it is, particularly the ambiguity of the final paragraph, can regard this novella as something akin to author written fanfiction. Surely it must be a coincidence that this happened just as Nathaniel and Elisabeth started getting closer to one another . I understand I can change my preference through my account settings or unsubscribe directly from any marketing communications at any time.

I am usually very picky when it comes to novellas because I always feel that the plot is too weak and I am left a little unsatisfied, but I have to say that while the plot is simplistic here, I was just so happy to see more of Nathaniel, Elisabeth, and Silas and it was just so wholesome, that I am not even complaining about the short length!but it was so enjoyable to be back in the world of thorn manor and see elisabeth, nathaniel, and silas again. I liked that it showed us more about Elisabeth and Nathaniel’s relationship since the romance was secondary in the first book, and it was adorable to see them both fall even more in love with each other and try to figure out where to go from there. Margaret Rogerson is the author of the New York Times bestsellers An Enchantment of Ravens , Sorcery of Thorns , and Vespertine . Regardless, this one had all the feels, all the swoons, and was essentially like being wrapped in a warm hug with a cup of your favorite warm beverage by a roaring fire. Needless to say, it lived up to our expectations, and we desperately hope Rogerson continues the story in a full-length sequel.

Let me start this review by saying I absolutely cannot believe it’s been more than three years since Sorcery of Thorns came out! And Nathaniel… I laughed so hard and so often throughout this short little book, because his wit absolutely shines here. With no access to the outside world, Elisabeth, Nathaniel, and Silas – along with their new maid Mercy – will have to work together to discover the source of the magic behind the malfunctioning wards before they’re due to host the city’s Midwinter Ball. It's told like an extended epilogue mixed into a short story, with enough intrigue to keep the plot-thirsty readers happy, and more than enough romance to satisfy our swoony selves. The three of them really balance each other out; Elisabeth and Silas remain level-headed while Nathaniel bounces off the walls. These are some of my favourite characters (from one of my favourite books) and by the end of Sorcery it was incredibly clear that, regardless of romance, this is a trio and they all love each other deeply. Elisabeth is just a really good character and i really hope we continue to see more adventures with her and this crew (and demonslayer)! It all has the same effect it did in the first book, maybe even more so now that they are officially together and away from serious trouble.

No spoilers, but the ending leaves things open with Silas and I’m hoping this means even more tales in this beloved setting to settle old scores. Faced with a house filled with unexpected secrets, the couple will have to lean on their connection like never before to set things right before it's too late. Summary: In this delightful sequel novella to the New York Times bestselling Sorcery of Thorns , Elisabeth, Nathaniel, and Silas must unravel the magical trap keeping them inside Thorn Manor in time for their Midwinter Ball! If you loved the aesthetics in Sorcery , you'll be delighted by the hidden bedrooms full of memories, the cursed attic, the magical gardens, the abandoned ballroom.Maybe I just want another book in this world, so I’m overthinking it, but I fully believe that in this case there’s room for more stories. Elisabeth and Nathaniel must figure out why the manor reacted this way, and how to fix it before somebody gets hurt.
