Stain/Sheerness/Translucency: This lip tint has a beautiful stain after drying; however, if you have natural discoloration between inner and outer lips, this is extremely exaggerated with the stain from this product. For me, it appears that the lip tint was wiped off on my outer lip but extremely pigmented on my inner lip within the first 15 minutes of it drying. Thus, it gives the appearance and impression that this lip tint has high transfer, meaning it comes off and is not long-lasting at all. When in reality, I find that this stain lasts quite a long time, I just don’t like the stark contrast between my lips being long-lasting. Note that reapplying does not remedy the contrast as it is an effect seen when it dries on the lip, not actually due to it being physically worn or wiped off. The product has a fruity scent to it. I was hoping that each shade would have a different scent because all shades are based on fruits, but that is not the case. The scent is quite pleasant and not overpowering. I cannot smell the product once it’s on my lips.

The consistency of this product is watery. These tints are quite sheer and not very pigmented, which is exactly what a lip tint should be. They can be built up to an opaque finish and no matter how much you layer them they won’t feel cakey. However, like most lip tints, they do not dry down. They do transfer and will come off if you eat or drink. Only the dark shades leave a stain behind. Not as pigmented, for my lip color/skin tone/undertones, it was barely visible, too translucent.

I really like these tints because of the way they look but they’re not the best lip tints in the market. They work very well for me, but I’m quite fair, and they’re not suitable for a majority Indian skin tones and that’s disappointing. They’re definitely very affordable and the darker shades perform well but the lighter shades should be avoided, especially by richer skin tones. It is small, shaped like a teardrop and has a well in the center that holds a decent amount of product. It is also slightly angled which is very convenient for application. Described as a ‘kidney bean red’, this color is actually not red at all. It’s a mauvy pink shade that brings out the pink color of my lips beautifully. It’s quite sheer and does not stain the lips. However, if you have pigmented lips it won’t show up and I would thus not recommend it for you.
