About this deal

On each page are collages of fairy tale elements from which students choose a picture of what they would like in their adventure. We are experiencing delays with deliveries to many countries, but in most cases local services have now resumed. Nick Sharratt (Illustrator) Nick Sharratt has written and illustrated many books for children including Shark in the Park, You Choose and Pants. My 3 year old daughter loves this book, it's a good book to share when you have a bit of time to go through it as there can be so many little sub stories to create and talk about!

Nick Sharratt has written and illustrated many books for children including Shark in the Park, You Choose and Pants. Pippa Goodhart's interest in children's books was originally sparked by a Saturday job at Heffers in Cambridge when she was at school. The possibilities are infinite in this captivating creative toolkit which will inspire children from three up to make their own stories again and again - a magical sequel to YOU CHOOSE, YOU CHOOSE YOUR DREAMS and YOU CHOOSE IN SPACE - it's spell-binding! You could also use the video to support reading for pleasure, and invite the whole class to choose their favourites during the You Choose Fairy Tales storytime. Seeing the fairy tale books at the end is a nice way to end the book as it reminds us of all the stories involved in the book. Then Ariel drank a potion she found in wonderland which gave her legs so she could dance at the party. This book allows you to make up your very own fairy tale adventure where YOU CHOOSE what happens next!

We at Penguin Random House Australia acknowledge that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are the Traditional Custodians and the first storytellers of the lands on which we live and work. This is a fantastic book that the children loved and you'll notice something new each time you read it. You can then look at all the choices which are brightly illustrated on each double page to get some ideas or even add some of your own. The illustrations are colourful and fun and there are so many detailed pictures on each page that it keeps the children busy for quite a while as they decide which they like best on the page. Our mission is to inspire children to feel they can be and do anything, and to create readers for life. Pippa Goodheart and Nick Sharratt read You Choose Fairy Tales and make their own mixed-up fairy tale! Everyone will enjoy identifying the fairy tale references, and then combining them to make up their own stories. These videos were streamed as part of the Puffin Festival of Big Dreams, an online event which celebrated the power of children’s imaginations (and Puffin’s 80 th birthday) during lockdown 2020. The content and ambition of the show remains the same: to give every pupil the opportunity to engage with authors and illustrators in their own classroom using the power of the internet.
