Smart clear whiteboard paint has not been tested for slip resistance and as with any painted finish it could wear according to the traffic on it. However, you should wait 4 days before using the wall for writing so that the paint hardens properly and you get a smooth finish. Smart clear whiteboard paint does not contain any isocyanates which means it is extremely safe to use around people.

To give you an idea of the work involved - our professional installer spends more time preparing the wall than they do painting! To remove stains from a whiteboard, first, try using a dry erase eraser or a soft cloth with a whiteboard cleaner. Whiteboard paints are really hard-wearing if you look after your surface well – we recommend using manufacturers whiteboard pens and cleaning fluids as these are tried and tested with the paints. Whiteboard paint is a combination of specialist resin designed to create a smooth, hard, writable surface.If creating a magnetic surface as well as writable, you will also need to apply the matching magnetic paint or primer before priming the surface. The writable area in a classroom is not limited by the size of a traditional wall-mounted whiteboard.
