The characters in this novel bring life and heart to this story, each with a distinct voice and personality. The emotional growth of each character feels genuine, and definitely had me laughing, crying, sympathizing and giving me all the feels. It just wasn’t one of those deep, memorable stories-it was more a sexy, fun book that will probable not stick in my head the way I thought it would.

Ahhh, I absolutely loved this one, Lily Golds books are some of my favourites and always seem to get a 5 Star rating from me. I liked the book from the very first page, but I really got hooked on the scene where Briar meets the MMCs.When I started working at Salacious Players’ Club, I never expected to end up on the auction block ready to grant a date to the highest bidder. The MMCs are still very present and have their own growth arcs and thoughts, but the story stays focused on Briar. The author did an amazing job of making these characters multifaceted, complex and very interesting. One other random thing that I loved was that the FMC never became a side character in her own story.
