to Skye’s growing feelings for a new friend and Clare’s secret horror at discovering her lies about her baby’s father might be found out, it’s all page-turning stuff. The book is not without some redeeming features, I did like the way the two half-sisters envied the other's childhood, seeing it through their own interpretation of the reality.I didn’t fully understand the nature of the illness or the impact it has on families until I started speaking to sufferers.
