About this deal

She took part on the third series of The Jump on Channel 4 in early 2016, withdrawing on 26 February (Week 5) after tearing a ligament in her knee during a training session.

Harding wrote a memoir, Hear Me Out, which was published in 2021, documenting her life and career as well as her terminal diagnosis. When they finally won a Brit Award, seven years into a career that changed the face of British pop, it was Harding who grabbed the trophy, hoisted it into the air and shouted, "It's about time!

The character made a few appearances in July and August 2015 as her marriage to Robert disintegrated when he began an affair with ex-wife Tracy Barlow ( Kate Ford). Sarah was considering treatment options for a secondary tumour at the base of her spine, which had possibly grown into her brain, but had ruled out radiotherapy because she didn't want to lose her hair. when she refers to her cancer in this book she's so positive and full of hope, I admired her words so much. Interesting hearing about the party scene back then and what Sarah was getting up to with the band behind the scenes. She made it to the final and gained the final spot in the group which became Girls Aloud - despite being the underdog according to bookmakers - alongside Nicola Roberts, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Cole (then Tweedy).

In October 2020, it was reported that she was living with her mother in Manchester upon undergoing treatment. I wish her all the best going forward - sure this book will be a source of comfort and inspiration to many. She also began a relationship with Celebrity Big Brother co-star Chad Johnson during their series of the programme. And so another night comes down on this side of the planet - and another dawn is on the way - another day - another sunrise - to be grateful for. I was startled to learn of Sarah's strong musical background and ambitions long before Girl's Aloud came around, I had no idea about this.Hear Me Out gave a first-hand glimpse at Sarah's life from starting off her career in Girls Alouds, and all the pressures and anxieties that came with the lifechanging experience to her cancer diagnosis, right up to when she broke the news via social media, and the thought process behind breaking the news of her diagnosis to the world. Just listen to the gleeful menace with which she delivers the line, "[you] make me wanna break the rules" over the shredding guitar riffs of Wake Me Up. In her book Hear Me Out, Sarah wrote: "In December my doctor told me that the upcoming Christmas would probably be my last.

I've enjoyed Kimberley's and Cheryl's books, too, but they certainly tried to portray the girls in a certain light, whereas Sarah's book is doing the opposite. You get the sense that she always had a fragile confidence and perhaps she is only now getting a sense of how loved she is. I’ve not posted on here for so long, thank you to everyone who has reached out to check in on me, it really does mean a lot.

Brave Sarah had undergone gruelling treatment to beat the cancer, including a mastectomy and intensive chemotherapy. Can’t say I’ve always been a fan of hers but wanted to read her story to see if I would like her after reading her own truths. The story also manages to highlight the impact of lockdown on other non-covid illnesses and the incredible role of the individuals in NHS in her care. Elsewhere, it got a tad repetitive (namely in the "I'm not just a party animal" narrative that is referenced pretty much relentlessly) but I found it an easy read. Having already faced the trauma of losing her breast and being too ill to have a reconstruction - which had left her unable to look in the mirror - Sarah wanted to keep her blonde hair.In 2016, she made her stage debut in Ghost - The Musical at the New Wimbledon Theatre in southwest London, and the following year appeared in Celebrity Big Brother - which she went on to win. You have this perception of these women, never from themselves but from the early 2000 tabloid magazine culture and it makes you wonder about the intense physical toll the pressure of that life must have taken on a body. In the midst of it all, another great sadness - a young and beautiful talent - Sarah Harding - struck down in the prime of her life. In July 2009, Girls Aloud announced they would take a year-long hiatus to pursue solo projects, but would reunite for a new studio album in 2010.
