If you are looking for a fun read with some humour and not too much drama, I’d highly recommend this manga. I may add some more within the next few days because there's so much I could say about how much I love this manga. When she's stuck thinking up characters' names, she gets inspired by loud, upbeat music (her radio is set to NACK5 FM).

Ouran is unlike any shojo I have ever read, and after reading the manga through the wee hours of the night, spending time with the wonderful characters, it’s really hard to watch the story end. This Ouran High School Host Club Manga Box Set contains volumes 1-18 plus an exclusive memo pad and features story and art by Bisco Hatori.Back to topic: I mean, they're stuck in that weird loop where seasons come and go, but everyone is still in the same year (that is, Hunny-Mori in 3rd, Kyouya-Tama in 2nd, and Haruhi-Hitachiins in 1st).

Still, I don't think he'll ever read the manga to the end, but that already shows that it can reach all kinds of audience because of how silly it is. This isn't just marvelously funny, their individual background stories is what makes this such a superb story. it came before the time it said and nothing was damaged, came with every book including the exclusive notebook.It's not perfect, but I can't say that I don't consider it to be one of the best shoujo series of all time. Here's a final ranking from my favorite to least favorite host club member (after this, I'm done with rankings. Her short hair, slouching attire, and androgynous face cause her to be mistaken by the Hosts for a male student, though they soon realize her actual gender and the fact that she's a "natural" in entertaining girls, promoting her to full-Host status against her will, all while jealously guarding the fact that she's in fact a girl; "their" girl. I mean, it has a bunch of obvious flaws, but the charisma of the characters (and the fun and stupid situations) makes you look past these issues. I'm so not into genre-categorizing manga (and you will hear me complain about this a lot) but since it works that way whether I agree with it or not, let's just say most guys are much less likely to pick a shoujo than a shonen, and also less likely than a girl picking a shonen.

They all eventually become a group of characters that are not merely made up of stereotypes and archetypes, all while retaining their original flare and ability to be made fun of.This series was amazing, and even if I hated some chapters and/or volumes, I will continue to read Ouran over and over again.
