About this deal

When compared to the Escapist 32, the Escapist 25 has all the same features but with lesser capacity. It is my intention to explain products so you can make an informed decisions on which ones suit your needs best. There is a zippered divider in the bottom, an attach system for a helmet, a rain cover with its own pocket, and even a safety light attached that blinks. Your torso length can be found by measuring from your C7 vertebra (the bony protrusion at the back of your neck when looking down) to the height of your iliac crest (top of your hip bones, where you put your hands on your hips). The Escapist is very cool and really designed for biking with it's more supportive waist belt and shoulder straps and proper internal pockets and even a built in rain cover.

and a rain cover for those inevitable wet days out or to provide a high vis cover for busy commuting. There are two sizes available, S/M and M/L, but on each the torso length is adjustable for the perfect fit.

Registered office: Icknield Street Drive, Washford West, Redditch, Worcestershire, England, B98 0DE. But we do use services by third parties that either use cookies or may be doing so, yet we do not have any control of it. Many books, notebooks, folders, and small supplies for school and college students will fit nicely into this Osprey pack for daily commutes and classroom use. The uses are almost endless for this great pack that you can incorporate into your life and activities. Actually, the hip belt is quite wide for the pack of this size, as you can see in the picture above, so it hugs the waist properly and you indeed have a nice fit here as well.

Contrary to popular belief, your torso length and not your overall height is the key to getting a well fitted pack.

Even when the weather turns for the worst, the built in high visibility raincover deploys quickly to protect your pack and all of your gear. We also share information about your use of our site with our social media, advertising and analytics partners. The chest strap is attached to sliders on the shoulder straps so you can position it to fit you perfectly. Even my 20 liter Deuter I found too large mountain biking and just use it skiing on really cold days for extra gear.

A - While some Extended Fit packs come in one size, there are several with different EF size options. The helmet attachment is simple but can effectively be slotted through the helmet to attach it to the pack with ease. Coming in three sizes – 20, 25, and 30-litre capacities – it combines a main compartment with an internal zipped divider and top and bottom zip accesses, so you can stick emergency kit in the bottom and the rest of your gear in the top and get at both with minimal fuss. Osprey have not scrimped on the storage options with plenty of pockets for all your stuff; there is a soft lined pocket for glasses and phones, stretch stash pockets, zipped hip belt pockets, shoulder strap gel pouch pockets and a front zipped pocket.

Ideal for commuting because of its smaller size and large content capacity, it can hold plenty of supplies and gear and still be trouble-free to tote. the large main compartment opening makes it easy to use as well because you can see everything in this large section from the top when it is opened. It’s a robust pack that reminds us of what CamelBak’s now defunct TransAlp promised but never fully delivered. It is not as important to place directly over the iliac crest (hip bone) as the weight is being supported by the shoulder harness.
