As before, the power cable attaches to the mount, so you can remove and replace the dash cam without worrying about wires. From there, you can navigate through the options and make adjustments to settings such as video resolution, loop recording, and other preferences. It also has intelligent parking mode that will monitor your vehicle when not in use and record any movements it detects. Please select 'Mass Storage' on the Dash Cam screen and then OK so that only that displays on the screen.If there’s one negative, it’s that the magnets are so strong, it’s hard to remove the dash cam from the mount and if you’re using the suction cup rather than the sticky pad you’ll have to hold the cup to prevent it being pulled off the windscreen. If the Dash Cam does not appear as a drive on your PC, please press the reset button on the underside of your Dash Cam and try all the USB ports on your computer.
I can't find any reference to this in the documentation, does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
If the Screen Saver is enabled on the camera, the camera's screen will turn off after 30 seconds of recording.
Also when at home with the camera powered off but connected to my PC it has spontaniously powered on, then later it powered down as well. It’s quite a complicated set up, but it’s the best approach if you want to use Alexa to control music playback. Please turn Parking Mode off and turn Screen Saver off as these could interfere with the test results.The new interface is simplified, with far fewer confusing icons on screen and presenting four main options when you tap on the settings cog. Unfortunately the Series 2 Rear Cameras will not work with any other devices apart from the ones I have listed above.
