Yes this is a children’s/YA book but one that reminds me of similar books I use to read myself as a child. I particularly adored how this book tackled a lot of topics that are very prevalent in today's society such as climate change and social media.

As an adult this book is a comedy, getting to read about the dramas of an 11 year old is completely hilarious and i promise it will make you feel so relaxed realizing how everything feels like the end of the world at that age. From an adult point of view, I liked how her mum talked about it with her and celebrated her changing body and didn't make her feel like it was something to feel shameful about.
