About this deal

The saturation of the instruments is considerable, and the stage is not cramped, although it is wider, the depth can also delight. My review is solely based on what I hear via my equipment and I never consider my reviews to be objective in any way rather a subjective approach. This time cleaner and polished though, with textural nuances and their composition not “overbrittled” and smeared, which is especially a blessing in the mid to treble transition, giving the whole picture more clarity and cleanliness. The treble does sound a bit bright but somehow it is subtle to the point where it does not sound harsh and is not fatiging.

HiFiMAN Deva Pro (Wired) Planar Magnetic Headphone HiFiMAN Deva Pro (Wired) Planar Magnetic Headphone

My previous experience with the HE400SE and RE400 was very successful and resulted in many hours of listening. As a result, signal-to-noise ratio, total harmonic distortion, and energy consumption are at their most efficient and cost-effective. Compared to the more serious, sportscar-like look of the Ananda, the Deva looks more like an elegant SUV or a luxury mid-size sedan. This is the area of these headphones that reminds me the most of the HE400se and is nothing short of great. The most notable changes in their latest driver revision are the stealth magnet assembly and the neo-supernano diaphragm. From “ Black Muse” by Prince, through to “ Elephants on Ice Skates” or even “ Whole Lotta Love” is a pleasure to listen to. The Deva Pro marks is superb value if you’re not in strict need of usual “BT Wireless” requirements that consider isolation from outside noises. They may need above-average amplification though, so I’d recommend at least a balanced dongle like Moondrop DAWN.

HIFIMAN Deva Pro Review — Headfonics

Once again, Hifiman uses its Ultra-Thin Diaphragm inside for the lowest distortion, fast response and high level of detail. The Ananda BT were far from perfect but they still remain the best sounding set of Bluetooth headphones I have heard to date. The boost near 11kHz cannot hide the lack of resonance, instead, it adds an unnatural “sheen” to hi-hats and crash cymbals. If you run into any of these issues, reach out to HiFiMan if you have exited the seller’s warranty period but are still within a year of purchase. One potential use-case could be having them as an all-in-one solution, but then you are sacrificing the lifestyle features of the best wireless headphones and the sound quality of the best wired headphones.

This is a system that allows the Deva Pro to be used with both the BT module and the normal cable that is included. The second generation of this amazing bluetooth receiver based on hifiman’s proprietary solutions and the R2R system is above average when it comes to capabilities.
