About this deal
Low-profile switches from TTC are used for the side buttons, which have pleasantly low pre and post-travel, although the back button can be pushed into the shell past the actuation point by a decent amount. The wheel is perhaps a tad heavier to press in than what I would personally like but it is well within the ‘reasonable’ range so this isn’t a huge complaint.

The mouse comes with a really nice tin box and includes some extra skates, a different scroll wheel ring, a micro USB charging cable, a USB extender, some grip tape, and a brush for some reason. Recently, manufacturers have begun to follow a novel approach when it comes to saving weight, and the Hati-S Plus ACE joins this club. That’s impressive, and it’s nice to see how companies are really taking this whole ‘lightweight race’ seriously. As I said the Hati is an ambidextrous mouse (no side buttons on the right side though, so lefties beware) with a pretty safe shape, and as I grabbed it the first time a familiar feeling came over me. It’s very neutral so people who like to have a filled hand or a curvy design won’t be too impressed here but it’s a safe design that should suit a lot of different hand sizes and grip styles out there. To be clear: I don’t mind that at all (nice looking RGB is a nice extra in my opinion, but it’s far from a necessity on a performance product) but since almost every gaming mouse these days has at least a tiny strip somewhere it is something that I noticed. It’s virtually silent and the steps are clearly defined without ever feeling like you’ve got to break a piece of glass each time you’re scrolling past a step.

Furthermore, since the battery is positioned towards the rear, the weight is nicely balanced, which is particularly important for a mouse this light to begin with. That’s nice to hear, because I was already thoroughly impressed by what G-Wolves managed to include with their packaging. Unlike the Skoll, the holes are not present on the sidewalls of the mouse, in its place is a standard matte plastic. The Hati can set DPI to as low as 100 and as high as 12000, in steps of 100, you also have the option to set horizontal and vertical DPI differently if you so choose. One thing I would change is the USB adapter though, it's very fragile and very hard to get out of the extender. The polling rate of the mouse can be set to 125, 500 or 1000 Hz, but there’s no real reason to set it to anything below 1000 Hz.
