Remove any algae, lichen, fungi or moss using an appropriate fungicidal wash such as Cuprinol Decking Cleaner. The product does not require a hazard warning label in accordance with EC directives/German regulations on dangerous substances. It is also important to note that overall final colour will depend on wood type, previous treatments and the number of coats that have been applied. Any areas that have been affected by mould or mildew, should be treated immediately with a suitable mould and mildew cleaner.Before application ensure that your decking area has been swept thoroughly and all dirt and debris has been removed.
