A toasted, charred almond note gives way to a distinct woodiness, which translates into a spicy, astringent feel on the side of the tongue. Blending more than 25 Grande and Petite Champagne Cognacs – the youngest of which has been aged for over four years – this bottle delivers a delicate drink that’s fruity and floral on the nose and mellow and smooth on the palate. The stunning glass stopper has 30 facets, while the gold collar features Napoléon’s silhouette against a repeat pattern of the bee – a historic symbol of sovereignty in France, representing our connection to royalty. Crisp, mineral undertones reveal a lot of winey freshness, similar to the promise of the olfactory perception.
