Although we have already seen Hochelaga (the name of the native village the city of Montreal was built on) receive its own Spezial in the past, another colorway honoring the location is headed our way in 2023.Launched in 1998 with a desire to pair classic sports styling with a passion for skate innovation and function, adidas Skateboarding are recognised for their Terrace culture inspired adidas apparel, jerseys and accessories, and skate shoes such as the Busenitz, Samba ADV and Puig. Taking on a clean white, navy, and red combo on its upper, the Spezial swaps out its usual suede construction for an all-leather build on this Hochelaga colorway. The Denim Italia SPZL is a reimagining of the ’70s model in premium denim, while the Newrad SPZL is reimagined in monochrome dark brown leather with a gusset tongue.

The same applies to this collection’s elevated, SPEZIAL-typical tracksuit, named the Tockholes, which is crafted from 100% recycled fleece.
