Sandside is south of the River Kent, and this walk starts from the opposite bank of the river, on the north side. The charity’s name comes from The Proclaimers’ famous lyrics, “ I would walk 500 miles”, because that’s our aim – to get people with disabilitiesin Malawi and Zambia up and walking.
