About this deal

What better place to start than the Etude House Soon Jung pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser. This pump-to-foam water cleanser is all about gentle cleansing while still removing any impurities that oil cleansing might leave behind. As with all of the Soon Jung line, the ingredients list is rather short. Gentle/coconut-based surfactants and combined with water, glycerin, panthenol, madecassoside (one of the core ingredients of the entire Soon Jung line), green tea leaf extract, and a couple of texturizers/preservatives are all that you’ll find here. Well there you have it! Four Etude House Soon Jung products all wrapped up into one review. It has been nearly two months in the making but I’m so happy that I was given the opportunity to revisit some old favorites from the line as well as experience some new offerings. Soon Jung truly exemplifies what K-Beauty has to offer in the “clean beauty” space, and dare I say they were first to the party? These products continue to deliver quality, performance, and value while still flying relatively low on the radar of newer skincare enthusiasts. This list wasn’t even near complete without including this K-Beauty cult favorite cleanser. Unlike the name suggests, the Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser can be used both in the morning and nighttime. This gel to foam cleanser contains both tea tree leaf oil extract and BHA making it very suitable for those with acne-prone skin. While tea tree oil helps to soothe the skin the betaine salicylate gently exfoliates the skin and helps unclog the pores.

Just two pumps from the generously sized bottle is enough for my whole face in the AM and PM. However, I took to “slugging” my skin with this layerable moisturizer on nights when my skin was feeling particularly dry or irritated. Bumping the application amount to 4+ pumps allowed me to really slather my skin in the stuff (good thing the bottle is so big!) and allow it to absorb for about 15 minutes before heading to bed. Other reviewers have had a better time with this cleanser so please don't be put off from trying it, but if you find it far too drying you're not alone! If not, don't worry about it - they do have had one of the longest safety records as preservatives!

Meet the soft, moisturizing cleansing foam of your dreams! This cleanser has a low pH of 6.5 and uses 98.9% naturally derived ingredients to cleanse skin in the gentlest way possible.Panthenol, a skin-benefitting compound closely related to Vitamin B5, delivers deep hydration while madecassoside, derived from Centella asiatica, repairs skin damage. Free of potential irritants like fragrance, artificial color, and parabens, this cleanser uses minimal ingredients and a rich foam to effectively cleanse and soothe irritated skin. Ingredients: Containing fresh fruit and plant extracts as well as a plethora of amino acids and vitamins B3 and B2, this cleanser works hard to cleanse your skin but works harder to treat your pores. Water, glycerin, sorbitol, propanediol, lauryl glucoside, disodium cocoyl glutamate, panthenol, Madecassoside, Camellia Sinensis leaf extract, butylene glycol, citric acid, glyceryl caprylate, ethylhexylglycerin. In a unique twist, it’s a plant-based cleanser that contains extracts from 7 florals: jasmine, rose, lotus, edelweiss, lily, daffodil, and freesia. These extracts offer a refreshing and rejuvenating feeling and give your skin a fresh complexion.Pityrosporum Folliculitis/Malassezia folliculitis or simply known as Fungal Acne is a persistent acne-like condition that commonly responds poorly to traditional acne-treating methods. Unlike most cases of Acne where bacteria is the culprit, Fungi is the culprit of Fungal Acne (Hence the name!). There are certain classes & groups of ingredients that have been shown to promote and feed the growth of the Fungal Acne, Fungi such as fatty acids, oils, esters, polysorbates and fermented ingredients. For the same reasons they are popularly used, they are also commonly avoided. Anecdotally, many individuals have reported that Silicones cause/excerbate breakouts, irritation, cause a feeling of skin being unable to breathe, cause clumping of cosmetic products and find it difficult to wash off. As a result, those who find them problematic are avoiding them and increasingly, cosmetic companies are avoiding them as well. Ingredients such as houttuynia cordata extract and tea tree oil contain acne-fighting properties that will keep your skin ailments at bay. There's still a lot of support for avoiding parabens following the better safe than sorry route. If you do we completely support you!

At SkinCarisma, we've done our best to identify as many ingredients as possible but note the fungal-free label may not be 100% accurate due to the complexconditions and combination of ingredients that malezzeria can thrive on. Many acne-affected individuals will find that many foam cleansers contain harsh chemicals that exacerbate their skin condition and cause them to break out even further. It looks like Etude House took notice that some people thought the ph of the whip cleanser is too high, so they released this new cleanser at a lovely ph of 5.5! Woot!

Parabens are a large group of preservatives which are used to prevent bacteria growing in cosmetic formulations. This super creamy foam cleanser is a fantastic choice for those with dry skin. Whilst it’s still very gentle when lathered onto the skin, it works well to remove impurities from the surface level of your skin, leaving you feeling clean and refreshed.WATER / AQUA / EAU, SODIUM COCOYL ISETHIONATE, GLYCERIN, COCO -BETAINE, POTASSIUM BENZOATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, ACRYLATES/C10-30 ALKYL ACRYLATE CROSSPOLYMER, CITRIC ACID, TROMETHAMINE, DISODIUM EDTA, PANTHENOL, PENTYLENE GLYCOL, MADECASSOSIDE I have completely fallen in love with pump type foam cleansers to the extent they have become a staple in my skincare stash. I like them because they are so easy to use and saves time. The Etude House Soon Jung Cleanser is a latest addition to my skincare routine. This cleanser has been raved a lot for its minimal ingredients and suitability for sensitive skin types. I’m impressed with the fact that it contains 98% naturally derived ingredients. But did it meet my expectations? Read on. Product Description:
