In various media, the blades of Hi-Nu Gundam's beam sabers are inconsistently depicted as either pink or light blue. The Real Grade version seems to take inspiration from the previous designs, combining the overall appearance and proportions of Izubuchi's original design, with the blue color scheme and silver trim from the second design that is used for the first Master Grade and the High Grade model kits.
