The 6.2in screen moves the Pixel 8 closer to the underserved market of smaller but top-end phones, of which there are only a handful to choose from. Google’s generative AI features are certainly novel, but it is the extended seven-year software support that truly sets it apart.

Now whenever you make pixel art there are essentially two parts to shading: the highlights and the shadows. We will start with the shadows. To create a shadow color we will start with a darker yellow based on the yellow we used on the main section of the star (#BF9505). To create a shadow effect, we will draw an outline along the bottom section of the star to give it a more three dimensional feel. Make sure to include the arms of the star as well.

When they first start up the Pixel Stars Dreamhouse, kids choose and customize one of three characters: a celebrity chef, a street style fashionista, or a social media star. They shouldn’t stress about the choice, though, because one of Pixel Stars’ best features is that kids can easily and immediately toggle between these three profiles, making different choices and exploring different options for each character! Remember, this doesn’t have to be the exact color as our pixel art. In fact this is an opportunity to make the pixel star look like your own.
